How do I view the Video CD (VCD) on my PC?

To view the video CD on a PC, open using windows explorer and enter the directory label MPEGAV, open the file label .DAT using windows media player 6+ (available from www.microsoft.com for free).

 

How do I view the Video CD (VCD) on my Mac?

Sorry no idea. Any ideas anyone?

 

Why isn't it super high quality pixel perfect better quality?

Partly so I don't get ripped, partly so I can give it away for free, mostly because it was designed to be watched on a TV not a computer.

 

Why isn't it in DivX?

I am thinking about it, but as I am off to the Indian sub continent next month for four and a half months, it ain't going to happen for a while. That and I start to get a lot more real respect for what I do.

 

Why Free, and not commercialize yourself?

Hmmm. Five pounds of flax springs to mind. But I personally believe in getting paid for a live performance rather than a prerecording. Also the investment required to move from free to commercial is massive and well beyond my personal finance for the foreseeable future. I am already thousands of pounds in debt with hardly any return for all the blood sweat and tears.
